Mark Wiens

Introduced as the oldest food market in Paris and a place to eat some seriously iconic food.

TOPJAW

'Street food but in a gastronomic way' — great produce cooked exceptionally well, with tuna belly, morels and the signature candied foie gras all far beyond what you'd expect from a market stall.

Heads up: As Hélène Darroze notes, it's best on a sunny day — the market is largely open-air in feel.

Messinger Guides

Described as a place hailed as a shrine of Parisian street food.

Heads up: The video put more emphasis on the jambon-beurre sold at a shop just outside the market than on anything inside it.
