Expect a queue in London

10 places for Expect a queue in London, picked by creators — with what they said.

• Borough Market — More Best Ever Food Review Show, 육식맨 YOOXICMAN, Suitcase Monkey
British food comes in incredible variety, and aside from the calamari, everything was tastier than expected, with the market itself being a lot of fun to explore.
Heads up: Prices are very high and many stalls have long lines (though they said the queues move fairly quickly).
• Blacklock Shoreditch — 육식맨 YOOXICMAN, Locavore Eats
The roast beef, made only with British beef, was praised as excellently medium-rare, with the gravy singled out as 'a bomb of natural umami' and 'the real star of the dish' — the carrots, cabbage, and pork crackling were also impressive.
Heads up: Sunday roast is only served on Sundays, and Sunday reservations are fully booked, so you need to walk in right at opening; portions for two are huge, making it a real challenge to finish within an hour.
• Beigel Bake — Doobydobap, Locavore Eats
Always freshly baked, soft bagels with a great contrast between salty beef and pickles — rated as better than New York bagels.
Heads up: It's chaotic inside with a long queue, though it moves very fast — just be careful not to get mustard on your clothes.
• Healthy Eaters — Doobydobap
The pie crust, tinted yellow with curry powder and turmeric, is wonderfully crispy, filled with spicy beef — all for just £2.50.
Heads up: Notes that the queue to buy bakery items is very long.
• All That Falafel — 셰프 안성재 Chef Sung Anh
He raved that 'nothing beats a well-made falafel,' admiring how the nuttiness and umami of the chickpeas blended beautifully with the spices.
Heads up: He mentioned that during weekday lunch hours, long lines of locals form here.
• Molly Tea (Chinatown) — Doobydobap
The Lapsang milk tea has a smoky flavor and is his personal favorite, and the jasmine milk tea is also 'really delicious.'
Heads up: Notes that there's a long line here.
• St. John — 큰손 노희영
Said the butterscotch bread pudding was chewy and warm, remarking 'now I get why it's number one,' and also praised the salt beef.
Heads up: There's been a line here for decades, and the nose-to-tail philosophy with unusual ingredients might not suit people who prefer more ordinary food.
• Kanada-Ya — Locavore Eats
Praised the rich, porky tonkotsu broth and good noodles, with a soft-boiled egg well-seasoned in the marinade. Said adding truffle makes it even richer.
Heads up: The shop is small and popular, so expect a wait during peak hours; it wasn't specified which of the London branches was visited.
• Nana Fanny’s Salt Beef & Falafel — More Best Ever Food Review Show
The beef itself is very tasty, and the combination of sharp mustard, tangy pickles, and cheese is excellent.
Heads up: It's popular enough that you have to wait in line for about 20 minutes (they said they paid someone else to queue for them instead).
• Fish Kitchen — More Best Ever Food Review Show
The fried halibut was 'on another level,' better than cod, with a beer-batter aroma that really came through, plus a nice greasy, flaky texture.
Heads up: The calamari was disappointing, barely edible without mayonnaise, and they pointed out that the tartar sauce is recommended but charged extra, while all you actually get is plain mayonnaise.
